everyone with digital cameras takes rapid photo snaps trying to get the perfect photo of themselves. while this is true, try not to be so obvious. don't do more than one self-portrait if you're unsure. def let it be different days, outfits, time of day, place, setting, environment, posture, mood, angle. we want to know you're not bored sitting around your house with nothing better to do than take photos of yourself with your shirt off.
my general advice: don't do them unless you know what you're doing and/or it's really awesome for a reason that has nothing to do with your looks....like you're an absolutely original guy with awesome style or you're somewhere you never want to forget and it means something.
